Executive Advisory and Program Management for Transformation


Background

The company was undergoing a strategic transformation in which the business evolved from being solely a product supplier to also offering services to several major customers. As part of this change, a new organizational unit was established with responsibility for developing and delivering these services.

Assignment Description

The assignment involved supporting the leadership team in anchoring and establishing the new organization. The work included developing a long-term strategy and transformation plans, securing alignment and approval within the board and executive management team, and establishing new capabilities within the organization. This included developing processes, defining roles and responsibilities, and staffing according to the defined operating model. The assignment also included program management and the execution of several projects aligned with the transformation plan.

Results of the Assignment

The result was an established and well-anchored organization with a clear strategic direction, implemented processes, and staffed roles based on newly defined role descriptions and responsibilities.
